ALUMINIUM EXTRUSIONS

Extrusion, within the scope of Global Steel and Aluminium, is delineated as the method of shaping materials, notably aluminum, by compelling them to flow through a contoured aperture in a die. The outcome of this process is an elongated piece mirroring the profile of the die opening. This encompasses pristine aluminum extrusion, encompassing a mix of mill finishes, painted surfaces, and anodized extrusion.

It is imperative that the extruded material is devoid of any impurities such as zinc, iron, felt, plastic, paper, cardboard, dirt, or other contaminants. This commitment to cleanliness ensures the quality and integrity of our extruded products, meeting the highest standards for a wide range of applications.

ALUMINIUM WHEELS

Troma alloy wheels, within the context of Global Steel and Aluminium, refer to aluminum alloy wheels renowned for their quality and performance. Troma alloy wheels, in accordance with our standards, should be clean, single-piece, and unplated. They must be free from all inserts, steel components, wheel weights, valve stems, tires, grease, oil, and any other non-metallic materials.

This stringent criteria ensures that our Troma alloy wheels meet the highest standards of purity, presenting a premium and reliable option for various applications in the automotive industry.

TAINT TABOR

Mixed old alloy sheet aluminum, as defined by Global Steel and Aluminium, encompasses a composite material composed of various clean, old alloy aluminum elements. This includes old alloy aluminum sheet, venetian blinds, castings, screen wire, hair wire, food or beverage containers, shells, airplane sheets, bottle caps, as well as incidental non-metallic items such as plastic and dirt.

To meet our quality standards, the material should be free of any contaminants, ensuring its cleanliness. However, a tolerance of up to 5% for oil and grease is accepted within this category. This commitment to purity and quality underscores our dedication to delivering reliable and high-quality mixed old alloy sheet aluminum.

TENSE

Tense, within the framework of Global Steel and Aluminium, is defined as comprising all clean aluminum castings. This category may include automotive and airplane castings but should not include ingots. The material must be entirely free from iron, brass, dirt, and other non-metallic items. Additionally, the permissible content of oil and grease in Tense should not exceed 2%.

CAST ALUMINIUM SCRAP

Cast aluminum, commonly found in engine blocks and various automotive components, is renowned for its presence in different parts of a car. Frequently, cast aluminum retrieved from engine blocks and automotive parts may contain residual oil from the engine. This inherent quality does not compromise its suitability for recycling or repurposing. RADIATORS

Radiators serve as crucial cooling units for a variety of appliances and machinery. In the scrap metal industry, they are often referred to as ACRs (Air Conditioning Radiators), aluminum/copper radiators, copper fin, and brass radiators. These components play a vital role in facilitating the cooling process by passing a cooling agent through the unit, allowing engines or machines to dissipate heat or circulate cool air.

Commonly found in cars, trucks, forklifts, and other vehicles, radiators typically feature black plastic ends and are primarily constructed of aluminum, presenting a silver color. Despite their seemingly bulky appearance, radiators are valuable in the scrap metal market and should not be underestimated. Careful removal can yield significant returns, emphasizing the financial worth of these components within the recycling industry.

ALUMINIUM CONDUCTOR STEEL REINFORCED (ACSR) / INSULATED ALUMINIUM WIRE

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) or Insulated Aluminium Wire represents a composite of steel and aluminum wires configured in various arrangements, with the expected minimum aluminum recovery to be mutually agreed upon between the seller and the buyer. The material is required to be free from other wires and cables unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.

This flexible and versatile combination of steel and aluminum wires serves various purposes, and the recovery of aluminum content can be customized based on the specific agreements between the involved parties. Ensuring freedom from other wires and cables provides clarity and quality assurance in transactions involving ACSR or insulated aluminum wire.

ALUMINIUM PAINTED SIDINGS

This category encompasses clean, low-copper aluminum scrap that is painted on one or two sides. The material should be free of plastic coating, iron, dirt, corrosion, fiber, foam, fiberglass backing, or any other non-metallic items.

Ensuring the absence of these contaminants emphasizes the quality standards upheld by Global Steel and Aluminium in the processing of aluminum scrap. This commitment to cleanliness and purity enhances the value and suitability of the material for various recycling and manufacturing applications.

TOUGH TABOO

This category includes new, clean, uncoated, and unpainted low copper aluminum scrap composed of two or more alloys. The material should have a minimum thickness of 0.015 inches (.38 mm) and must be free of the 2000 and 7000 series, hair wire, wire screen, punchings less than 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) in diameter, dirt, and any other non-metallic items. The permissible content of grease and oil should not exceed 1%.

For any variations to this specification, both the buyer and seller should reach an agreement prior to shipment. This adherence to detailed specifications ensures the quality and integrity of the low copper aluminum scrap, meeting the standards set by Global Steel and Aluminium for diverse industrial applications.

ALUMINIUM TURNINGS

This category includes clean, uncorroded aluminum borings and turnings consisting of two or more alloys. The material is subject to deductions for fines exceeding 3% through a 20 mesh screen, as well as dirt, free iron, oil, moisture, and all other non-metallic items. Acceptable material for good delivery should not contain iron in excess of 10%, free magnesium, stainless steel, or highly flammable cutting compounds.

To prevent disputes, it is advisable to sell the material based on a definite maximum zinc, tin, and magnesium content. This detailed specification ensures the quality and compliance of the aluminum borings and turnings with the standards set by Global Steel and Aluminium for various industrial applications.

ALUMINIUM PUCKS

Aluminum Pucks are cylindrical metal pieces with a circular form, crafted to custom diameters and heights for versatile applications. The flexibility of custom thicknesses in puck diameters enhances their adaptability to specific needs.
